Even though your packaging is slathered with “Fragile” warnings, often those moving your items around are still not mindful of the contents, and when something happens they will plead ignorance. At SPS we can supply several products that will further deter transporters from mishandling your goods and will also force responsibility onto those guilty if damage does occur.
At SPS we have two different devices that are able to indicate if mishandling has occurred:
- ShockWatch impact indicator labels can be stuck directly onto or inside packaging and are, available in various indication levels. They raise awareness that special handling is required, and will indicate if the item has been knocked or bumped. The MAG 2000 is a tamperproof, re-usable, re-settable version of the ShockWatch Label.
- TiltWatch tip sensors indicate when and item has been tipped or tilted beyond a specific angle. The indicator dot turns red when an item that was supposed to be kept level has been incorrectly transported
